The Brush Country Rattlers
Youth Organization began its Inaugural
Season in 2004 as a member of the Texas
Youth Football Association (TYFA). TYFA was
established in 1996 to provide the Youth of
Texas with a competitive and non-
discriminatory football league that affords the
opportunity to all children to participate in
youth football. The league has
no weight
restrictions
and does not turn away any child
for being bigger or over-weight. Rattlers motto
states "
PLAY HARD-DREAM BIG". We
encourage every child to follow their dreams
and we take pride in their success.
For more information about TYFA , visit their
site at www.tyfa-football.com .

The Rattlers organization was formed to
provide the youth of tri-city area with an
organized and safe environment to learn the
game of football without discriminating on a
child for any reason. Through youth football
and cheerleading our coaches serve as
positive role models while instilling a sense of
pride and accomplishment into our players
and cheerleaders. We stress academics,
discipline, teamwork, hard work, dedication,
determination as fundamental elements to a
successful season and a successful life.

The Organization was founded by John and
Norma Hinojosa who have been involved in
youth sports since 1998.  The Hinojosa's have
been actively involved in soccer, baseball, and
football.

Brush Country Rattlers Organization believes
that youth football teaches valuable life skills
that players will carry with them into
adulthood such as :

  • Scholastic Achievement
  • Discipline
  • Team Unity
  • Ethics
  • Respect
  • Community Pride
  • Hard Work
